1. Scope & definitions
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the At The Moment Team (“we”, “us”, “our”). They apply to every part of the Services.
- Bot — the At The Moment Helper Discord application and any commands/events it reacts to.
- Dashboard — the web panel at our domain, including the public site, the logged-in server dashboard, the site-admin CMS and the temporary-voice (TempVoice) dashboard.
- AI module — the “Private AI” chat experience powered by local or remote language models.
- Operator — the At The Moment Team, established in Sweden (EU).
- Server admin — any Discord user with administrative permission in a guild where the Bot is installed.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you can form a binding contract with us and you comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Discord’s minimum age for your region. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization or Discord server, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organization/server to these Terms.
3. Accounts & access
Most dashboard features require Discord OAuth. When you log in, we receive a limited set of identifiers from Discord (user id, username, avatar hash, and the list of guilds where you share permissions). You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure; actions performed through your authenticated session are treated as yours.
- Access to the server dashboard is limited to users with Manage Guild or equivalent roles configured per module.
- The site-admin CMS is limited to user ids listed in
SITE_ADMIN_USER_IDS. - We may throttle, restrict or revoke access when needed to protect security or comply with platform rules.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- break any law, regulation, Discord’s Terms / Community Guidelines, or the Discord Developer Policy;
- harass, threaten, defame, stalk, sexualise minors, or incite violence;
- distribute malware, phishing links, scams, or deceptive automation;
- bypass role-based access, rate limits, authentication, or any other security control;
- post NSFW content in channels or endpoints that are not explicitly flagged as adult;
- mass-scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Services without written permission;
- use the AI module to generate disallowed content (CSAM, targeted harassment, weaponisation instructions, malware, fraud, real-person defamation) or to attempt prompt-injection against the operator;
- spam giveaways, petitions, reports, applications or custom commands;
- attempt to exfiltrate or correlate data of other users beyond what the dashboard exposes to you.
5. Server-admin responsibilities
Server admins control which modules are enabled in their guild and how restrictive the permissions are. If you are a server admin you agree to:
- configure channels, roles and RBAC so that only authorised staff can read sensitive logs and transcripts;
- inform your members (e.g. in server rules) that tickets, reports, applications and petitions may be logged and archived;
- not use the Bot to collect personal data of members beyond what is necessary for your stated community purpose;
- set reasonable retention for the modules you enable, and delete data on request where legally required.
6. Features & modules
The Services expose the following modules. Availability depends on your server configuration:
- Tickets — branches, claims, department transfers, staff-only threads, transcripts.
- Reports — structured member reports with staff review logs.
- Applications — custom question forms with role-gated review and acceptance flows.
- Giveaways — creation, rerolls, role requirements, end-handlers.
- Petitions — shareable pages with Discord login, configurable fields and signatures.
- Transcripts & archive — web-rendered message history of tickets/reports/applications.
- XP & leaderboard — message-based levelling, role rewards, public leaderboard.
- Social watchers — auto-posts from YouTube, Twitch and related public feeds you configure.
- Private AI — chat interface to local/remote LLMs.
- Custom staff commands — guild-specific commands authored from the dashboard.
- Temporary voice channels (TempVoice) — join-to-create voice channels with policies.
- Site-admin CMS — image/video uploads, rich-text pages, menu and landing page configuration.
We may add, remove or change module behaviour at any time. Material changes will be noted in the dashboard or on this page.
7. User-generated content
You retain ownership of the content you submit through the Services (ticket messages, application answers, petition entries, CMS uploads, AI prompts, etc.). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, back up, transmit, display and process that content solely to operate, secure and improve the Services. You warrant that you have the rights necessary to grant this licence.
8. AI module
The AI module produces generated text and is provided on a best-effort basis. AI output is not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological, etc.) and may be incorrect, biased or outdated. Do not rely on it for high-stakes decisions.
- Prompts and responses may be stored temporarily for abuse prevention, debugging and moderation.
- We may refuse or filter prompts that violate section 4.
- Do not paste secrets, credentials, or personal data of third parties into the AI.
9. Uploads & CMS
Site admins can upload images and videos via the CMS. By uploading you confirm that you own or are licensed to publish the content. We may enforce size/format limits and remove content that infringes third-party rights, violates these Terms, or is reported via a valid takedown request. Send takedown notices to the contact endpoint in section 16.
10. Third-party platforms
The Services integrate with Discord and optionally with YouTube, Twitch and other public APIs you configure. Those platforms have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their outages, rate limits, policy changes or decisions. If a platform’s terms require us to disable a feature, we will do so.
11. Payments & donations
The Services are currently offered free of charge, optionally supported by voluntary donations. Donations are non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise. If we introduce paid tiers, billing terms, refund policy and taxes will be disclosed clearly on the checkout page or in the dashboard before you pay.
12. Availability & changes
We aim to keep the Services available but do not promise any uptime or service level. Maintenance windows, Discord outages, third-party API changes, rate limits and hardware failures may cause downtime or data access delays. We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time, especially when required for security, legal compliance, or platform rules.
13. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, for a user and/or a whole guild, if we reasonably believe:
- you or the guild violated these Terms or Discord policy;
- there is illegal activity, security risk, or ongoing abuse;
- required by law, regulator, or a platform provider;
- the guild owner or user ID is banned via the site-admin panel.
You can terminate your relationship with us at any time by removing the Bot from your server and logging out of the dashboard. Some data may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the At The Moment Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law (e.g. gross negligence or intent).
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the At The Moment Team against any third-party claim, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your misuse of the Services, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) content you submit or configure through the Services.
16. Reporting issues
If you believe the Bot or a server using the Bot is violating Discord’s Terms, Community Guidelines, or the Developer Policy (including spam DMs, abusive moderation, or misuse of data), please report it to us. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include disabling modules for a guild, wiping stored data, or removing the Bot from a server.
